In a heart-wrenching incident, a 38-year-old homemaker, Thipamma, allegedly took her own life after killing her two children in KGF taluk on Wednesday, according to police reports.

Thipamma, married for 20 years, reportedly had a troubled relationship with her husband. Investigators suspect that ongoing marital discord may have driven her to commit the tragic act.

Preliminary findings suggest that Thipamma first ended the lives of her children—a seven-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son—by hanging them. She then reportedly died by suicide, hanging herself from a ceiling fan.

The grim discovery was made by her husband, who immediately alerted the authorities. Police have registered a case and are questioning the husband as part of the ongoing investigation.

This incident has shocked the local community and highlights the devastating impact of unresolved domestic issues. Authorities are urging families to seek support during times of emotional distress to prevent such tragedies.
