This 5,100-square-foot penthouse in Bengaluru is a masterclass in balance, combining minimalist design with Mediterranean influences. Created by Pomtini Design Studio for a family of four and their playful dogs, the residence is shaped by Vastu principles, ensuring harmony throughout.

The home features sculptural elements, with rounded wall junctions that conceal civil work, giving the space a smooth flow. Avoiding false ceilings, the design embraces depth, where light dances off matte walls and natural textures enhance the tropical feel. The minimalist approach minimizes woodwork, contributing to a sleek and timeless aesthetic.

The design’s most striking feature is the use of seven different flooring materials. From the herringbone brick pattern in the foyer to the rustic Kota stone in the communal areas, each surface adds a unique touch to the home. The living area, with bespoke seating and floral motifs, creates an inviting atmosphere. The dining space features Burmese teakwood and pine rafters, radiating warmth under bamboo lamps.

The highlight of the space is a statement wall adorned with an Italian marble slab, inscribed with gold-etched shlokas, blending modernity with devotion. The outdoor terrace, with its pergola and mosaic floors, offers a peaceful escape, while the rejuvenated staircase ensures seamless movement between levels.

With Vastu influences shaping the layout, Pomtini Design Studio delivers a serene yet vibrant home, thoughtfully designed for the family’s needs.
