
Maharishi Valmiki-Themed Republic Day Flower Show at Lalbagh Draws Record Crowd
The Maharishi Valmiki-themed Republic Day flower show at Lalbagh Botanical Garden in Bengaluru attracted a massive turnout, with over 1.17 lakh visitors on Sunday alone. According to officials, the show generated a remarkable Rs 65 lakh in revenue just on Republic Day, drawing 81,250 adults and 35,811 children.
Over the course of 11 days, the popular flower show saw a total of 4.38 lakh visitors. The show, which will continue until January 27, has become one of the city’s biggest attractions during the Republic Day festivities.
Last year’s flower show, which centered around the 12th-century social reformer Basaveshwara, was a massive success, collecting Rs 2.59 crore in revenue and attracting more than six lakh visitors, including over one lakh on Republic Day.
