
Man Dies by Suicide at Bengaluru Metro Station, Services Disrupted
On Saturday evening, a 35-year-old man died by suicide by jumping in front of an approaching Metro train at Doddakallasandra station, according to officials. The man’s identity remains unknown, and investigations are underway to identify him and determine the reason behind his actions, stated Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL).
The tragic incident occurred at 5:45 PM, leading to a suspension of Metro services on the Green Line between Yelachenahalli and Silk Institute Stations. Services continued on the remaining sections of the Green Line. BMRCL shared details of the incident on ‘X’, indicating that the deceased was run over by the train. Efforts are ongoing to gather more information about the victim and the circumstances surrounding the incident.
