Mangaluru: Acting on the report published by Newskarnataka.com the Assistant Commissioner, Puttur Division ordered the Tashildar of Belthangady taluk on Thursday, April 9 to draw opinion from Gram Panchayath over providing 42 cents of land (SN:108/1F1A1B1) to Indian Army Soldier, Yogish Poojary
Following the publishing of a report on the soldier’s cry for land rights, a movement, Democratic Ambassadors for All India Rural Integrity in hot pursuit pressurized the concerned authority to act upon the report.
The order copy sent to Tashildar said the deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada has directed the AC office to draw opinion from GP and analyze road connectivity to the land. The letter written by AC further stated opinion must be collected from GP and matter should be pursued speedily.
A member of DAARI through Newskarnataka.com urged the AC and Tashildar to complete the process in a short span. Newskarnataka.com would monitor the status of file will be following up the impact of its report.
