Gloria Asha Rodrigues, a 23-year-old lecturer at St. Aloysius University in Mangaluru, tragically passed away on November 13 after a sudden health crisis. Gloria, daughter of Gracen Alex Rodrigues and Gretta Plavia, collapsed on campus shortly after lunch on November 8. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she remained in a coma until doctors declared her brain-dead.
Gloria, who had recently completed her M.Com at St. Aloysius and joined the B.Com department in July, became a symbol of selflessness as her family agreed to donate her organs. Her donations were matched with various recipients, bringing hope and life to those in need.
