On Wednesday, Tamil actor Vishal arrived in Mangaluru, where he performed special pujas at several renowned temples. One of his notable visits was to the Jarandaya Temple in Haripada, Mulki Taluk, where he offered jasmine flowers and prayed for his well-being.

During his visit, Vishal reportedly received a comforting blessing from the Daiva (deity), who signaled protection and improvement in his health through a divine gesture. Deeply touched by the experience, Vishal participated in the Daiva Kola ritual for three hours, receiving prasadam. Reflecting on the moment, he shared his admiration for Tulu Nadu’s cultural traditions, mentioning, “I had only seen the Daiva Kola and Nemotsava in Rishab Shetty’s ‘Kantara,’ but witnessing it live was truly profound. I also visited the Kollur Mookambika temple and feel blessed.”

Vishal has promised to perform the ‘Thula Bhara’ ritual next year if his health fully recovers. The actor also shares a strong connection with Karnataka, as his father was originally from Bengaluru. He has built lasting friendships with Kannada film industry stars, including the late Puneeth Rajkumar.

Vishal’s health concerns first gained public attention during a promotional event for his film Madha Gaja Raja, where he appeared weak and unsteady, prompting widespread worry. He later clarified that he had been battling a viral fever and needed time to rest and recover.
