Mangaluru: Young author and orator Reshel Bretny Fernandes from Mangaluru was honoured with the title “Emerging Voice of Bharat” on the occasion of International Women’s Day at a ceremony held in Bengaluru. The recognition was presented by the national organisation Inki Pehchan Foundation for her contributions to literature and public discourse.

Reshel Fernandes, a final-year LL.B. student and an ABVP activist, has gained recognition as a promising young literary voice with accomplishments at both national and international levels. She is also a recipient of the Kittur Rani Chennamma State Award, recognising her contribution to youth leadership and literature.

The award ceremony was held at The Zuri Whitefield Bengaluru, where the honour was presented by renowned actress Sudha Chandran during the Women’s Day celebration.
