Mangaluru: Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, hosted a comprehensive Town Hall Meeting in Mangaluru, bringing together employees from across its Mangaluru City Region, Udupi Region & Puttur Region and other 4 Regions staff members were connected through live web cast. The event was graced by the Bank’s Executive Director Ms.Beena Vaheed, and the General Manager & Zonal Head Shri.Rajesh Khanna, who addressed the staff on the importance of enhancing customer experience and operational excellence.
The meeting served as a vital platform to align the Bank’s strategic priorities with ground-level execution, particularly emphasizing ‘Best Customer Service’ as the cornerstone of future growth.
The General Manager & Zonal Head of Mangaluru Zone, presented Bank’s Market share & Performance of the Zone during Q1 in various parameters and outlined the key initiatives being implemented to elevate customer satisfaction, including infrastructure upgrades, staff training, and others. He acknowledged the dedication of branch teams and encouraged them to maintain high service standards that align with Organisation’s vision
The Executive Director Ms.Beena Vaheed, in her key note address highlighted the need for consistent and innovative customer engagement across all Branches. She stated, “Excellent Branch ambience is the foremost customer expectation. It is the first impression that builds trust and comfort. In today’s banking landscape, delivering seamless, courteous, and responsive service is the foremost responsibility.”
The Town Hall meeting also included interactive sessions, where frontline staff shared expectations, insights and success stories on customer service delivery, branch performance, and innovative practices adopted at the ground level. As a highlight of the event, the Bank also launched the latest edition of ‘Mangaldwani’, a Zonal Quarterly Magazine remembering participation of executives in events and celebrating staff achievements, innovation, and service excellence.
