Muhammad Ishaa’s wedding to Shamsina at the MJM Masjid Hall in Belthangady took a heartwarming turn, thanks to the innovative idea by Blood Helpline Karnataka to conduct blood donation camps during marriage ceremonies. The event witnessed 42 guests generously donating blood, adding a touch of humanity to the joyous occasion.

Blood Helpline Karnataka has been actively promoting this concept and has successfully organized five such blood donation camps during wedding ceremonies. With the slogan ‘Let us be blood relatives,’ the organization aims to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and foster a sense of social responsibility among the public.

The blood donation drive was facilitated by the mosque committee, Ansaria Helpline, and Rotary Campco Blood Centre, Puttur. Ishaa and Shamsina exchanged vows in the presence of elders, while the non-profit organization orchestrated the blood donation drive.

Ifaz Bannur, admin of the organization, expressed gratitude to the selfless individuals who donated blood and thanked the staff of the blood bank and other supporters for their contributions to the noble cause. Ishaa, the groom, expressed his happiness knowing that the blood donation camp held alongside his wedding ceremony could potentially save many lives.

This philanthropic twist to Ishaa and Shamsina’s wedding exemplifies the spirit of giving and community support, demonstrating how joyous occasions can be used as opportunities to make a positive impact on society.
