An accident occurred on the Kolnadu highway in Mulki when a car crashed into the rear of an auto-rickshaw, injuring the driver and three passengers. The rickshaw was on its way from Mangaluru to Karnad at the time of the collision.

The injured individuals have been identified as Abdul Basheer (35), the rickshaw driver, along with passengers Shobha (55) from Marakada, Bhavani (65) from Kunjathbail, and Vasanti (72) from Panambur.

The car, which is believed to have lost control, car collided with the rickshaw, which was moving slowly towards Mulki. The force of the impact threw the rickshaw driver a considerable distance, causing him serious injuries. Meanwhile, the three passengers sustained minor injuries.

Both vehicles were damaged in the crash. Mangaluru North traffic police responded quickly to the scene, registered a case, and have initiated an investigation into the incident.
