Bantwal: A private bus collided with a car near BC Road Circle on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway, leaving the car driver with severe injuries on Wednesday.
The injured driver has been identified as Vishwanath Shetty from Kerala. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital in Mangaluru for urgent medical care.
According to reports, the car was heading towards Melkar when the bus rammed into it, leaving the vehicle badly mangled from the force of the impact.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, and further updates are awaited.
