Vittal: A late-night accident occurred on May 31 when an Alto car veered off the Vittal–Puttur road at the sharp Alakemajalu curve and overturned into a roadside drain.
According to initial reports, the driver is believed to have lost control of the vehicle, causing it to crash into an electric pole after flipping over. The impact left both the vehicle and electric pole damaged.
Though the exact number of passengers remains unclear, it is suspected that the occupants managed to escape through the car’s shattered glass, likely avoiding serious injury.
Authorities are expected to investigate the incident further to confirm the cause and ensure public safety in the area.
