Mangaluru: A chain collision involving a car, a private bus and a lorry occurred on Yeyyadi Road on Tuesday, resulting in minor damage to all three vehicles. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the mishap, though the accident caused temporary traffic disruption in the area.

The accident took place when the driver of a car attempted to take a left turn, triggering a series of collisions involving the vehicles travelling behind it.

Car hit by bus while turning

According to eyewitnesses, the car was attempting to take a left turn on Yeyyadi Road when a private bus travelling behind reportedly failed to stop in time and rammed into the rear of the car.

The impact caused minor damage to the car, while the bus also sustained damage to its front portion.

Lorry crashes into bus

Moments after the initial collision, a lorry travelling behind the private bus was unable to halt in time and crashed into the rear of the bus.

The impact resulted in a chain collision involving all three vehicles.

The lorry also suffered minor damage in the accident.

No injuries reported

Despite the collision, all passengers travelling in the private bus escaped unharmed.

The occupants of the car and the driver of the lorry also did not suffer any injuries.

The accident caused only vehicle damage, with no casualties or serious injuries reported.
