A tragic accident occurred in Purusharakatte on Saturday night, claiming the life of a man identified as Ganesh, a Holige trader from Indira Nagar. The collision involved Ganesh’s Activa scooter and a car traveling towards Puttur, which struck him as he was coming from the opposite direction.
The force of the impact was severe, causing Ganesh and his scooter to be thrown into a roadside drain. He sustained critical injuries and was first taken to Puttur Hospital before being transferred to a Mangaluru hospital. Unfortunately, despite medical efforts, Ganesh succumbed to his injuries.
