Suratkal: Hamd Foods, a reputed name in the spice manufacturing and retail sector, marked a significant milestone on Monday by inaugurating its second retail outlet at Welcome Complex, 7th Block, Krishnapura near Suratkal.
The launch was graced by Dr. Waheeda Banu, Professor and Head of Department at Ayurveda Medical College, Mangaluru. She praised Hamd Foods for delivering high-quality spice products, noting that some of their offerings carry Ayurvedic medicinal benefits. She also commended the brand’s rapid expansion and wished them continued success across Karnataka.
Abdul Hafeez, franchise owner of the Krishnapura branch, spoke about the company’s commitment to producing over 150 all-natural and organic products, free from artificial dyes and chemicals. “Our first store is in Falnir, Mangaluru. With this new outlet in Krishnapura, we’re also preparing to launch a third store in Thokkottu very soon,” he shared.
The diverse product line includes popular spice blends like Broasted Chicken Mix, Fish Fry Masala, Meat Sukka Masala, Afghani Chicken Paste, Tikka Masala, and Fish Puli Munchi. Hamd Foods also offers baby foods, frozen items, squashes, and more.
The inaugural ceremony saw the presence of several distinguished guests, including former MCC member Shamshad Aboobacker, educator Rufina, advocate Mumtaz, principal Bhavya, headmistress Shabnam, entrepreneur Jazeela Iqbal, YouTuber Fathima M., and team members Shahida, Maryam Shahira, and Sharif.
