Leading the list is Mumbai’s K. Rustom & Co., an institution since 1953, famed for its mouthwatering ice cream sandwiches. Their mango ice cream sandwich, perfectly balancing sweet and tangy flavors encased in crispy wafers, has gained global acclaim.

Bengaluru’s Corner House also shines with its legendary “Death by Chocolate” sundae, a decadent indulgence featuring layers of cake, ice cream, chocolate sauce, nuts, and a cherry on top. Taste Atlas lauds Corner House as one of Bengaluru’s most cherished dessert spots, praising the sundae for its rich and intense chocolate flavor.

Other iconic Indian ice creams include Natural Ice Cream’s tender coconut flavor from Mumbai, offering a refreshing burst of tropical taste; Apsara Ice Creams’ guava flavor from Bengaluru, showcasing India’s diverse palate with its tangy twist; and Pabba’s Gadbad from Mangaluru, a festive mix of flavors capturing the essence of Indian celebrations.
