In a tragic and shocking incident, a woman lost her life after being attacked by a wild elephant near Kaniyaru, Perlampady, on Tuesday morning.

According to local sources, the woman was engaged in rubber tapping when the solitary elephant suddenly emerged and charged at her without warning. The violent assault proved fatal, and she is said to have died on the spot due to the severity of the injuries.
