Mangaluru – In a significant administrative shake-up, the Karnataka government has issued transfer orders for sixteen IAS officers as of June 17, reshaping several top-level posts across the state.

Among the prominent changes is the transfer of Dakshina Kannada Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan. He has been reassigned to Bengaluru, where he will now serve as the Inspector General of Registration and Commissioner of Stamps. This post was previously held by Pommala Sunil Kumar IAS, who was managing the charge alongside other responsibilities.

Stepping into the role of Deputy Commissioner for Dakshina Kannada is Darshan H V, whose appointment has been made effective immediately. He is expected to take charge without delay and oversee district-level administration moving forward.

The reshuffle is part of a broader move by the state government to streamline governance and bring fresh leadership to key regions.
