Mangaluru: Mandd Sobhann presented the 296th edition of its Monthly Theatre with a special musical programme titled ‘Moga Manchi Adolfachi’ at Kalaangann, Shaktinagar on August 2, offering audiences an evening of soulful music in memory of the late Eric Ozario.

The event drew music lovers and members of the Konkani community for a heartfelt celebration of melody, culture and remembrance.

Programme inaugurated by Evelyn and Stany D’Souza

The evening was inaugurated by renowned compere couple Evelyn and Stany D’Souza, who marked the beginning of the programme by ringing the traditional bell.

Mandd Sobhann President Louis Pinto presided over the inaugural ceremony, while Kishore Fernandes compered the formal proceedings.

Musical performances captivate audience

Following the inauguration, acclaimed singers Adolf Jayathilak and Meera Crasta enthralled the audience with a series of melodious performances. The programme was specially organised as a tribute to the late Eric Ozario, honouring his immense contribution to Konkani culture and the arts.

The musical arrangements were directed by Roshan D’Souza, who led an accomplished team of musicians comprising Raj Gopal, Vijay Rasquinha, Roshan Fernandes, Veekshith, and Stephen Frank.

The programme was hosted by Lloyd Rego, with assistance from Gloria Veigas, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for the audience.
