Mangaluru International Airport, managed by Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), achieved a significant milestone in the first quarter of Financial Year 2024-2025, recording a 21% increase in passenger traffic. The airport handled 552,689 passengers compared to 457,859 in the same period last year. This included 393,598 domestic and 159,091 international travelers.

Dubai emerged as the top international destination, while Bengaluru and Mumbai led domestic travel preferences. The airport now efficiently processes over 180,000 passengers monthly.

Air Traffic Movements (ATMs) also rose by 21%, with 3,820 ATMs compared to 3,174 last year. Domestic ATMs increased to 2,956, and international ATMs to 864, up from 2,263 and 911, respectively.

Mangaluru International Airport continues to expand its global network, serving eight international destinations, including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Dammam, Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Kuwait, and Muscat. Domestically, it connects to major cities like Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.

As Karnataka’s second busiest airport, Mangaluru International Airport remains committed to enhancing regional connectivity and facilitating seamless travel.

Notably, Air India Express inaugurated a daily service between Mangaluru and Abu Dhabi on July 22. The launch of flight IX 819 strengthens the airport’s role as a key gateway for regional and international travel.
