Mangaluru: In light of the passing of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the Karnataka government’s declaration of a seven-day mourning period, the Dakshina Kannada district administration has decided to postpone the Beach Festival at Tannirbhavi Beach, which was scheduled for December 28 and 29.
The festival was part of the month-long Karavali Utsava celebrations, which included live concerts by Manikanth Kadri and Raghu Dixit, along with food stalls and adventure water sports. Due to the mourning period, these events have been postponed, and the district administration has assured that the new dates for the festival will be announced soon.
