Mangaluru: The team from the ‘School of Karate Do – The Way of Self Defence,’ led by Sensei Keval Kumar, brought home a haul of accolades at the South India Cup WFSKO-SI Open National Level Karate Championship, held on January 19, 2025, at Nimhans Gymkhana, Bengaluru.
Competing against top athletes from across the nation, the Mangaluru team showcased exceptional talent in both Individual Kata and Kumite categories, securing multiple medals:
- Drey Aiden Fernandez: Gold in Kata, Bronze in Kumite
- Sharvin Prinson Dsouza: Gold in Kata, Bronze in Kumite
- Ashel Niah Dsouza: Gold in Kata, Bronze in Kumite
- Nahyan Abdul Rahman: Gold in Kata
- Lavith Kumar K: Gold in Kata, Gold in Kumite
- Shawn Walden Fernandes: Gold in Kata, Bronze in Kumite
