A two-wheeler rider, Nishank, 23, from Kavoor, who was seriously injured in an accident on Thursday night, succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Mangaluru on Friday. The accident occurred while he was riding from KPT Junction to Padavinangady and hit a road divider. Mangaluru Traffic South police have registered a case.
In a separate incident, another two-wheeler rider, P Ganesh Pai, 67, who met with an accident at Kottara Chowki on June 4, died at the hospital on Friday. The accident occurred on NH-66 at Kottara Chowki.
Harassment Case Booked
A 19-year-old woman has accused an unknown person of misbehaving with her while traveling on a bus to Bajpe on Friday. The complainant stated that a man, approximately 27-28 years old, followed her and sat behind her in the bus, touching her inappropriately. A case has been registered.
