Mangaluru: The Family Life Service Centre (FLSC), Mangalore, has announced its Marriage Preparation Sessions for 2027, inviting engaged couples to participate in the mandatory formation programme ahead of their wedding.
Organised by the Family Life Service Centre of the Diocese of Mangalore, the sessions aim to prepare couples for a lifelong commitment to Christian marriage through spiritual, emotional and practical guidance. The programme also offers an opportunity for couples to understand the responsibilities, values and challenges of family life from a faith-based perspective.
Sessions scheduled throughout 2027
According to the schedule released by the centre, marriage preparation sessions will be conducted on multiple weekends across the year, allowing couples to choose a convenient batch before their wedding.
The first sessions are scheduled for January 9–10 and January 23–24, followed by programmes in February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November and December. The final batch of the year will be held on December 28–29, a special Tuesday and Wednesday session.
Full-day programme for engaged couples
Each session will be conducted from 8.15 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the Family Life Service Centre, Shanti Kiran, Nanthoor, Bajjodi, Mangaluru.
The programme is designed to help couples strengthen their relationship before marriage by offering guidance on Christian family life, communication, commitment, responsibilities and faith-centred living. Along with marriage preparation, the centre also provides matrimony services and family counselling.
