Subrahmanya – The body of Honnappa (52), an ambulance driver from Subrahmanya Primary Health Center who had been missing since Tuesday, was recovered today from the Kumaradhara river, about a kilometer downstream from the bathing area.

A resident of Devaragadde, Subrahmanya, Honnappa was last seen on CCTV footage running toward the river, triggering fears that he may have jumped in. A massive search operation began that night, involving the SDRF, Ishwar Malpe team, Ravi Kakkepadavu team, ambulance drivers, Fire Department Sullya, and local residents.

After four days of continuous efforts, the search concluded with the discovery of his body on Friday. A case has been registered at Subrahmanya Police Station, and investigations are ongoing.
