Renowned musician Reuben Jason Machado will host a 15-day flute summer camp for children in April 2026, offering young learners an opportunity to explore the basics of flute playing and music.

The camp, designed for children above six years of age, aims to introduce beginners to the fundamentals of the flute while nurturing confidence and creativity through music.

Guided by experienced musician

Reuben Jason Machado, a multi-instrumentalist known for his performances across Bollywood, Sandalwood and Coastalwood, will personally guide participants during the camp.

He is also recognised for performing at prominent events, including high-profile weddings, and for mentoring young talents interested in music.

The camp reflects Machado’s effort to encourage children to discover music at an early age and develop a strong foundation in instrumental learning.

Learning the basics of flute

During the programme, children will be introduced to basic flute techniques, including how to blow correctly, produce sound and understand simple musical notes.

Participants will also learn beginner tunes and fun melodies designed to help them gain confidence while playing the instrument.

The sessions will be conducted in a beginner-friendly manner so that even children with no prior musical knowledge can comfortably participate.

Separate batches for learners

The camp will run as an intensive 15-day programme, with separate batches planned for beginners and those with slight prior experience.

This approach will allow participants to learn at their own pace while receiving appropriate guidance from the instructor.

Organisers said the camp aims to combine learning with enjoyment, making music accessible and engaging for children during their summer holidays.

With limited seats available, registrations for the flute camp are expected to begin soon, with exact dates to be announced shortly.
