In a remarkable display of efficiency, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel at Udupi railway station successfully retrieved valuable luggage left behind by a passenger aboard the Mathsyagandha Express (Train No. 12619).

Sanath Devadiga, who traveled from Thane to Byndoor in the A1 coach, realized he had forgotten one of his bags while deboarding at Byndoor station. Acting quickly, he reported the issue via the railway helpline number 139.

The RPF team at Udupi promptly located the bag on the train. They contacted Sanath and informed him of the recovery. At 10 am, Sanath visited the RPF office at Udupi station, where he identified and verified the bag, which contained gold ornaments and two laptops worth around ₹4 lakh.

Sanath expressed heartfelt gratitude to the RPF team for their swift and dedicated action in ensuring the safe return of his belongings.
