Mangaluru: RVR Healthcare has announced the launch of its Neuro-Oncology Centre in Kasaragod, Kerala, along with the expansion of its ‘Arogya by RVR’ healthcare outreach programme across India. The announcements were made during a press meet held at The Ocean Pearl, Mangaluru, outlining the institution’s plans to expand access to specialised and affordable healthcare.
The new centre is scheduled to be inaugurated on July 27, marking another step in RVR Healthcare’s efforts to extend advanced medical services beyond Mangaluru.
Expanding specialised healthcare services
The upcoming Neuro-Oncology Centre in Kasaragod will provide specialised diagnosis and treatment for neurological and brain tumour-related conditions. According to the institution, the centre will be equipped with modern medical infrastructure and supported by a team of specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, and allied disciplines.
The expansion is aimed at improving access to specialised healthcare for patients in northern Kerala and neighbouring regions.
Healthcare institution launched in April
RVR Healthcare, located in Falnir, Mangaluru, was officially launched on April 24, 2026, as a super-speciality healthcare centre offering advanced medical services across multiple disciplines.
According to the institution, its team of specialists collectively brings more than 30 years of clinical and surgical experience, having performed over 17,000 surgical procedures during their careers.
The hospital states that its focus is on delivering quality healthcare while ensuring affordability and compassionate patient care.
Leadership outlines vision
Vijay M. N. Shetty, Founder and Chairman of RVR Healthcare, said the institution was established with the vision of making quality healthcare accessible irrespective of a patient’s financial background.
He said the hospital seeks to combine advanced medical care with social responsibility by ensuring that affordability does not become a barrier to treatment.
The institution is also led by Dr. (Prof.) Raghavendra B. S., Director and neurosurgeon, along with a panel of specialists including Dr. Maneesh Rai, Consultant Cardiologist, and experts from various super-speciality departments.
‘Arogya by RVR’ to reach more communities
RVR Healthcare also announced the expansion of ‘Arogya by RVR’, a free health screening and consultation programme aimed at improving access to preventive healthcare in underserved communities.
The initiative offers medical consultations, health screenings, and public health awareness programmes. Following the response to its first outreach camp in Chikkamagaluru, the organisation plans to expand the programme across Karnataka, Kerala, and other parts of the country.
Future expansion plans
The institution said it intends to continue expanding its network of specialised healthcare services while strengthening community outreach initiatives.
