Yogish Bhandary (42), a native of Ariyadka, tragically ended his life on Saturday, November 23, at Cashew Hills in Talenji, Badagannur village in Puttur.
Bhandary, who owned a salon in Kinningar, Kasaragod district, Kerala, lived in a rented house there with his wife and two children. On Friday evening, he visited his ancestral home in Paapemajalu, informing his family that he would return to Kinningar. However, the following morning, his lifeless body was discovered.
A local resident of Talenji, who was on his way to deliver milk to a nearby society, heard a mobile ringtone coming from a cashew farm.
Investigating the sound, he found Bhandary hanging from a tree branch. Authorities were alerted, and the individual was identified as the salon owner.
