A senior citizen sustained severe injuries in an accident near Kadiyali when a car overturned and collided with him.
The incident involved a Swift car (KA 19) traveling from Manipal to Udupi. The driver reportedly lost control and applied sudden brakes, causing the vehicle to flip over. In the process, the car hit a parked vehicle before striking the elderly man, who was on his two-wheeler, preparing to cross the road.
The Udupi traffic police promptly arrived at the scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
