Mangaluru: Renowned Hindustani vocalist Shilpa Cutinha is set to perform at Symphony of Hope, a special live music concert scheduled to be held on August 22 at the Fr. Muller Convention Centre in Mangaluru.

Billed as the “Voice of Grace”, the concert will celebrate music, hope and artistic excellence, bringing together music lovers for an evening of soulful performances.

Celebrated vocalist to headline concert

With over 30 years of performing experience, Shilpa Cutinha has established herself as one of the leading voices in Konkani and Indian music. She holds a Master’s degree in Hindustani Classical Vocals from Himachal University and has trained under renowned gurus of the Jaipur and Patiala Gharanas.

She is a recipient of the Global Konkani Music Award for Best Female Vocalist in 2013 and 2016.

A versatile musical journey

Over the years, Shilpa has performed more than 500 songs in Konkani, Kannada, Hindi and devotional music. She has also lent her voice as a playback singer for Konkani, Tulu and Kannada films.

In addition to her playback career, she has produced music albums, including “O…La…Re” and “La Vida”, and is recognised as a vocal coach who has performed across India as well as Bahrain and Kuwait.

The organisers have invited music enthusiasts to attend the concert, with tickets currently available for booking. Symphony of Hope is expected to showcase an evening of melodious performances by one of the region’s most celebrated vocalists.
