Mangaluru: A Special Investigation Team (SIT) is actively looking into Crime No. 39/2025, registered under Section 311(A) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at the Dharmasthala Police Station. Officials confirmed that the team has been formed specifically to handle the complexities of this case.
In an effort to boost transparency and encourage public assistance, the SIT has set up a dedicated operational center in Mangaluru. The goal is to streamline the investigation while making it easier for citizens to share valuable leads or information.
The investigation office is now functioning from Nirikshana Mandira, situated at Mallikatte, Kadri, within Mangaluru City, Dakshina Kannada District. The facility remains open to the public between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM on working days.
