Mangaluru: Srinivas University and Srinivas Group of Institutions celebrated their Founders’ Day and College Day at the Mukka campus on February 14.
Chief Guest Krishna Hegde Miyar, HR at MRPL, praised the institution’s vision and mission, emphasizing how education transforms society. He highlighted that education is the key to success and societal upliftment.
Chancellor Dr. CA A Raghavendra Rao, in his address, shared that Srinivas University was inspired by his father, Adka Shama Rao, and was established in 1988, followed by the university’s foundation later. He stressed the importance of humanity, skill development, dedication, and sincerity for success.
Pro-Chancellor Dr. A Srinivas Rao welcomed the gathering and honored award winners across various fields.
As part of Founders’ Day initiatives, a newborn girl at Srinivas Hospital received ₹1,000 under the Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, promoting girls’ education and security.
