The SSLC-1 examination results in Dakshina Kannada district have seen a commendable boost following the revaluation and re-totalling of answer scripts. This revision has not only raised the overall pass percentage but also increased the number of students who successfully cleared the exam.
Initially, out of 27,795 registered students, 25,326 had passed, marking a pass rate of 91.12%. After revaluation, the count rose to 25,470, improving the overall pass percentage to 91.64%.
Revised Taluk-Wise Performance:
- Bantwal: 4,990 of 5,678 students passed (up from 4,963)
- Beltangady: 3,709 of 3,968 (up from 3,683)
- Mangaluru North: 4,609 of 4,980 (up from 4,598)
- Mangaluru South: 4,346 of 4,847 (up from 4,307)
- Moodbidri: 1,794 of 1,905 (up from 1,780)
- Puttur: 4,331 of 4,582 (up from 4,311)
- Sullia: 1,691 of 1,835 (up from 1,684)
Alongside the improved individual results, the number of schools achieving a 100% pass rate also saw a significant rise. Initially, 149 schools had achieved this feat—comprising 49 government, 10 aided, and 90 private institutions. Post-revaluation, these numbers increased to 62 government, 13 aided, and 97 private schools, bringing the total to 172 schools.
This upward trend reflects the impact of diligent reassessment and highlights improved academic performance across the district.
