Mangaluru: The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) has stepped into the ongoing Dharmasthala controversy, terming the allegations and propaganda as part of a malicious conspiracy. To counter this, the VHP has announced a week-long ‘Shiva Panchakshari Nama Japa’ beginning today, urging people across Karnataka to join the spiritual movement.
Addressing the issue, VHP leaders declared that Dharmasthala is not just a temple town but a sacred space of devotion and trust for millions of Hindus. They asserted that any attempt to malign its sanctity is an attack on the faith of an entire community. “The conspiracy against Dharmasthala must come to an end immediately,” leaders stated.
As part of the initiative, VHP leaders and devotees offered special puja at the Kadri temple premises in Mangaluru. Following the rituals, hundreds of activists joined together in chanting ‘Shiva Panchakshari Nama Japa’, filling the temple grounds with devotional fervor.
The VHP has appealed to people across the state to participate in this spiritual campaign from their respective temples and homes, thereby collectively protecting the sanctity of Dharmasthala. Leaders stressed that such devotional unity would send a strong message against those attempting to spread unrest and false narratives.
According to VHP representatives, the week-long spiritual drive is not just a prayer but a peaceful protest through devotion, aimed at safeguarding faith and cultural harmony.
