Walter Nandalike, founder and managing director of Daijiworld Media Private Limited, was honoured with the prestigious Swastika Udyamaratna Award 2026 by Swastika National Business School, Mangaluru.

Award recognises entrepreneurial journey

The award was presented in recognition of Nandalike’s achievements in entrepreneurship, visionary leadership and contribution to the media sector.

His journey of building Daijiworld Media into a prominent media organisation through entrepreneurship, innovation, hard work and leadership was lauded at the event. His transformation of an entrepreneurial dream into a successful media organisation was also described as an inspiration for young entrepreneurs and aspiring business leaders.

Award ceremony held during MARKET X

The award presentation was held as part of the two-day MARKET X – Boot Camp marketing workshop organised by Swastika National Business School on September 9 and 10 at Palemar Garden, Morgansgate, Mangaluru.

Former Karnataka minister and managing director of Landlinks, Mangaluru, J Krishna Palemar attended the programme as chief guest. Advocate Adarsh Shetty, president of Bharathi Educational Trust, Kulai, inaugurated the programme.

Students gain practical business insights

The boot camp featured Sandhya Varma, ACC-ICF certified life coach and co-founder of Skill Quest, and JCI Sen Rakesh Nair, corporate trainer and co-founder of Skill Quest, as resource persons.

They provided students with practical guidance on marketing, entrepreneurship, leadership and contemporary business practices.

Institution focuses on future business leaders

The programme was organised under the guidance of Swastika National Business School president Dr Raghavendra Holla N, principal Dr Malini N Hebbar and MARKET X coordinator Deeksha Devadiga, with the support of the institution’s faculty and students.

The recognition of Nandalike added significance to the programme, highlighting the value of entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership in shaping successful organisations.
