A young woman was injured on Monday, December 16, when the Alto car she was driving lost control and plunged into a roadside drain at Manjalpade, near the Bondel-Moodushedde road.
The accident occurred while the woman was traveling from Bondel towards Moodushedde when the vehicle went off balance and veered into the drain.
She was promptly rescued and taken to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment.
