Bengaluru: A 24-year-old auto driver, identified as Arun, was brutally hacked to death on Tuesday night in New Timber Layout, within Bengaluru’s Byatarayanapura Police Station limits. Arun, who had faced legal issues in 2021 related to an assault case, was reportedly stabbed more than 20 times by unidentified assailants.
The motive behind the murder is suspected to be an old rivalry, and Arun’s impending marriage in January adds a tragic dimension to the incident. Byatarayanapura police are investigating the case, and the deceased’s body has been shifted to the hospital for further examination.
