Patna : On Friday, Sashashtra Seema Bal (SSB) officers in Bihar’s Madhubani area took an Uzbek woman into custody near the India-Nepal border.

Held when crossing Laukaha border pillar number 247 on the border in Madhubani, the woman was carrying a passport with her name listed as Khujayewa Zilola and her husband’s name as Aazsu.

A bogus Aadhaar card with a Delhi address, five US dollars, Rs 1,260 in Nepali currency, Rs 30 in Indian currency, a cell phone, three Sim cards, a suitcase, and three UAE coins were found by the SSB agents searching her things.

The woman admitted during interrogation that she was traveling to Laukaha bus stop in order to board a bus from Kathmandu to Delhi. She added that she had previously resided in Pune and Mumbai.

“An Uzbek national from pillar number 247 has been taken into custody for trespassing into India. She had several offensive objects with her and was not carrying any legitimate documentation. The woman discloses that she was traveling to meet her friend, who was staying in Delhi with someone by the name of Rakesh. SSB Laukaha border Inspector Raj Kumar stated, “We have turned her over to Laukaha police for additional legal action.”
