New Delhi: Defence Minister Manohar Parikar along with three other Service Chiefs paid homage to Kargil martyrs at Amar Jawan Jyoti, India Gate on the occasion of the 17th Kargil Vijay Diwas. July 26 is observed as Kargil Vijay Diwas every year in honour of the Kargil War Heroes.
The Indian Armed Forces had recaptured Indian posts in Kargil occupied by Pakistan army on this very day in the year 1999.
