
MRPL Hosts Central Vigilance Commission Event
Mangaluru: A capacity-building and training program on vigilance administration was inaugurated in Mangalore on August 9, 2024, by Shri P. Daniel, Secretary of the Central Vigilance Commission, along with Shri Mundkur Shyamprasad Kamath, MD of MRPL, and Shri Ganesh S. Bhat, CVO of MRPL. The two-day event, hosted by MRPL, is being held at Hotel Ocean Pearl, Mangalore, under the aegis of the Central Vigilance Commission.
During the inaugural session, dignitaries present included Shri Rajiv Verma, Director, CVC, Shri V. Nandakumar, Director Refinery, Shri BHV Prasad, ED Projects, and Shri B. Sudarshan, ED Refinery of MRPL.
In his inaugural address, Shri P. Daniel spoke about the birth and evolution of the CVC and its approach to handling challenges. He provided an overview of the activities promoted by the Commission and emphasized the importance of knowledge sharing, evolving strategies, and leveraging technological advancements to combat corruption. Shri Shyamprasad Kamath welcomed the gathering, and Shri Ganesh Bhat delivered the vote of thanks.
Chief Vigilance Officers from various CPSE organizations across the country, along with officers involved in vigilance activities, were present on the occasion, along with Group General Managers, senior officers, and the organizing team of MRPL.
