Mysuru: Just days ahead of the start of the Mysuru Dasara celebrations, district Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhuri has restricted entry of the public to the Chamundi Hills, as well as the Chamundeshwari temple due to the current COVID-19 crisis.
According to a report by DH, there will not be any Chamundeshwari Devi darshan from October 23 to November 1 midnight. entry to the 1,008 steps that lead up to the Chamundi hilltop will also be restricted during the mentioned days.
Only those living in the Chamundi Hills and the officials in charge of the Dasara work will be allowed entry, according to the DC’s order.
