Mysuru: A blood donation drive was successfully organised at Avant BKG Hospitals recently, with 57 donors comprising doctors, nurses, hospital staff and visitors coming forward to donate blood and support the initiative.

Doctors and staff join the drive

The camp was inaugurated by Medical Superintendent and Head of the Accident and Emergency Department Dr K V Lokesh and Chief Operating Officer Dr Shivakumar, in the presence of doctors and staff members of the hospital.

The participation of hospital employees and visitors reflected the importance of encouraging voluntary blood donation and supporting patients who may require blood during medical treatment.

Hospital honoured for support

As a token of appreciation, Suresh from Jeevadhara Blood Bank presented a certificate of appreciation to Dr Lokesh on behalf of Avant BKG Hospitals.

The certificate recognised the hospital’s support and contribution towards organising the blood donation initiative.

The organisers expressed appreciation to all 57 donors who came forward to contribute to the drive, highlighting the value of voluntary blood donation in strengthening blood availability for those in need.
