Mysuru: St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar, Mysuru, organised a Tiranga March on Thursday as part of its Independence Day celebrations, promoting patriotism, national unity, discipline and respect for the National Flag.
NCC cadets lead Tiranga March
A total of 92 NCC Air Wing Cadets of Troop No. 28 participated in the march with enthusiasm and discipline.
Carrying the Tricolour with pride, the cadets marched through the neighbourhood, spreading a message of patriotism and national pride among residents.
The march began at the school campus and proceeded towards K D Circle, Vijayanagar Water Tank and Vidyavardhaka Engineering College Road before returning to the school.
Students promote unity and patriotism
The event provided the cadets with an opportunity to demonstrate discipline and teamwork while marking Independence Day through a community-focused activity.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Principal Elizabeth S Thomas and R Anthony Raj, Associate NCC Officer (ANO).
The event was supported by PI Staff Sgt Arun G Nair of 4 KAR AIR SQN NCC, Mysuru.
The Tiranga March highlighted the role of young cadets in promoting national unity and respect for the Tricolour while bringing the spirit of Independence Day into the neighbourhood.
