Mysuru: A couple who were due to get married on December 26 were found dead in separate locations in Mysuru and Ernakulam on Wednesday morning, leaving their families and colleagues shocked.

Woman found dead at rented house

P Anusree, 25, who was working at the State Bank of India’s Hunsur branch in Mysuru district, was found dead at her rented accommodation in Hunsur.

Anusree, a native of Kattampally in Kasaragod, was engaged to Amal, 26, who was employed at an SBI branch in Ernakulam.

Her body was taken to Devaraj Urs Hospital in Hunsur, where postmortem procedures were completed before it was handed over to her relatives.

Fiancé found dead in Ernakulam

Amal, who hailed from Vilamana in Kannur, was later found dead at a hotel near the North Railway Station in Ernakulam.

According to reports, Anusree had made a video call to Amal shortly before her death. However, there has been no official confirmation establishing a connection between the two deaths or clarifying the circumstances surrounding them.

Investigation underway

The deaths have raised questions as both were engaged to be married and were working with the same banking institution in different locations.

Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding both incidents and establish whether there was any connection between them. Further details are awaited from the police.
