A KSRTC bus traveling from Male Mahadeshwara Betta to Mysuru met with an accident when it overturned near the Halaravi pond. The bus lost control, resulting in a violent crash, which left more than 20 passengers injured.

According to the passengers, the driver’s negligence and excessive speed were the main causes of the mishap. With around 50 people on board, about 20 passengers suffered injuries, some of which were critical.

The injured were immediately transported to government hospitals in Kollegal and Hanur for medical treatment. The accident took place within the jurisdiction of the Male Mahadeshwara Betta police station, who promptly arrived at the scene to carry out an inspection and begin the investigation.

This incident highlights the importance of road safety and the need for caution while driving, particularly on treacherous routes.
