Mysuru: Activist Snehamayi Krishna, the complainant in the Mysore Urban Development Authority (MUDA) scam case, has filed an objection to the findings of the Lokayukta police, questioning the clean chit given to the accused, including Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

Krishna personally appeared before the special court for criminal cases against sitting and former MLAs and MPs in Bengaluru on Tuesday and submitted a list of witnesses to be examined. The court has scheduled the next hearing for March 24.

The Lokayukta police report concluded that there was no incriminating evidence against the accused. However, the report acknowledged a financial loss to MUDA due to compensatory site allotments to BM Parvathi, an accused in the case. Krishna argued that this statement was contradictory, questioning how the urban body could suffer a loss without any wrongdoing.

Krishna also submitted an additional protest petition, providing further documents and arguments challenging the Lokayukta police findings. The special public prosecutor stated that he would seek instructions from investigators before making further submissions to the court.

The case continues to draw public attention as it raises concerns over urban land allotments and governance transparency.
