A Glimpse into Railway Heritage

Located on KRS Road opposite the Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), the Mysuru Rail Museum showcases the history and development of Indian Railways. Its exhibits include vintage locomotives and other railway-related displays that offer visitors an insight into the evolution of rail transport.

The museum is a destination for families, railway enthusiasts and tourists looking to explore a different aspect of Mysuru’s heritage during Dasara.

Visitors planning a trip between October 11 and 21 can make use of the extended opening hours and revised entry fees to organise their visit accordingly.

The extended schedule will remain in effect throughout the announced period, giving visitors additional time to explore the museum during the Dasara festivities.
