In a remarkable achievement, Karnataka Soaps and Detergents Limited (KSDL) has surpassed all previous sales records, achieving a turnover of Rs 1,570 crore in March 2024. This marks a substantial year-on-year increase of 14.25%, amounting to Rs 195 crore more than the previous fiscal year’s turnover.

Under the leadership of Chairman CS Nadagauda, KSDL plans to introduce innovative products, including the super-premium Mysore Sandal premium gold soap with extra Sandalwood ingredients and a transparent bathing soap. Additionally, the company aims to launch cosmetics, perfumes, agarbattis (incense sticks), and more, with over 10 products set for release by August this year.

Expansion plans are underway for KSDL in Mysore and Shivamogga, aligning with its goal to enhance production and efficiency. The company’s commitment to quality and cracking down on fake manufacturers has contributed to its success, with Industries Minister MB Patil expressing aspirations to elevate KSDL into a global brand and increase turnover to Rs 5,000 crores.
